Explore the hidden charms of Penang island on this round the island trip traversing through traditional local and fishing villages, idyllic beaches, lush green rainforests, ocean scenic views, rolling hills, private cottage industry, family-own garden and agricultural lands.

Along the way we’ll stop at the enchanting Tropical Spice Garden, learn how Malaysian batik is made at the Penang Batik Handicraft centre and visit the world class insect and butterfly farm, Entopia.

We will stop for a light local snack travelling through hilly terrains of rainforest, fruit and spice plantations. Along the way we’ll stop at a private secret garden and shop at a roadside fruit stand, if you wish to buy some local fresh fruit to take back to your hotel.

We will then head to the agricultural township of Balik Pulau, which in Malay literally means “the back of the island.” On the west side of this laid back township is a long stretch of coastline, fishing villages and rice fields with stunning views from the opposite surrounding hills. We will have a sightseeing tour of Balik Pulau, speak to the locals who have been producing Penang unique ingredients for four generations!
