Penang Insights
Lifesize street arts at Balik Pulau

A new meaning to your travel adventure. Tell us what you are interested to see and experience as a traveller, and let us design a program exclusively for you.

At Penang Insights, our philosophy is based on you as our “visiting guests” and us as your “local host” working together so you get the most out of your time here in Penang.

We’re different from other travel companies as we only accept one client per day (with a limit of three guests in your party). This highly personalised service means we can create a program that’s tailored to your wishes allowing you the freedom and flexibility to explore the sights of Penang on your terms.

Simply let us know about your interests, whether it be sampling the wide variety of diverse cultural cuisines, heritage sites, religious temples, nature trails or a combination of attractions, and we’ll design an itinerary that we believe meets your needs.

As your local hosts, our aim is to make your visit to Penang as enjoyable as possible, so please feel welcome to contact us at any time.

Nature and Adventure

Penang is a small island, covering a mere 293 square kilometres. Although it is densely populated along the east and north coast, it remains relatively untouched along the west coast with lush rainforests thanks to its year round tropical climate.

Penang Food

Penang is world renowned for its exceptional street food. The diversity of its Malay, Chinese and Indian cultural backgrounds collides in a melting pot of tastes and flavours that stem back generations.

Arts and Culture

The arts and culture scene in Penang is alive and colourful thanks to its multicultural society of Malay, Chinese and Indians. There’s no shortage of religious festivals throughout the year and visitors will find mosques, Chinese and Indian temples living in harmony side-by-side in local neighbourhoods.
